رأى مدير عام مستشفى الحريري فراس الأبيض في تغريدة على حسابه عبر "تويتر"، أن "موقفنا المطمئن الحالي في قتال كورونا يرجع إلى عاملين: الإغلاق المبكر نسبيًا ، والخوف الذي دفع الناس إلى الالتزام بالتعليمات بينما تقودنا المتطلبات الاقتصادية نحو المرحلة التالية ، يجب عكس كلا العاملين".
In my opinion, our current reassuring position in fighting #Covid19 is due to two factors: The relatively early lockdown, and the fear that drove people to abide by instructions. As economic requirements drive us towards the next phase, both factors will have to be reversed.

واعتبر أن "تخفيف الإغلاق وحده لا يكفي"، مشيراً الى أن "للوصول إلى النشاط الاقتصادي الكامل ، يجب أن يشعر الناس بالأمان عند خروجهم، كورونا سيكون هناك".
وأضاف، "تتطلب العودة الآمنة إلى العمل تخطيطًا دقيقًا من قبل السلطات.كما يتطلب سلوكًا مسؤولًا فرديًا وجماعيًا".
Easing the lockdown alone is not enough. To reach full economic activity, people have to feel safe as they go outside. #Covid19 will be there. Safe return to work requires meticulous planning by the authorities. It also requires responsible collective and individual behavior.

وشدد على أن "يجب بذل كل جهد ممكن لرسم تفاصيل الخطة للمضي قدما. كما اكتشفت عدة دول أخرى ، الانفتاح صعب للغاية".
وتابع، " كما يعلموننا في كلية الأعمال، لا الحظ ولا الأمل استراتيجية".
Every effort should be made to draw the details of the plan to move forward. As several other countries have discovered, opening up is quite challenging. As they teach us in business school, neither luck nor hope is a strategy.
