Arrest in Tripoli Amidst Rising Armed Looting Incidents

Amidst the rising incidents of armed looting in northern regions, particularly in Tripoli and surrounding areas, security services have intensified efforts to combat this concerning trend. "Lebanon Debate" reported that following a monitoring and tracking operation, a patrol from the Northern Investigation Detachment apprehended an individual known as J.J. in the Tabbaneh area of Tripoli.

According to sources, J.J. has been involved in multiple armed robberies in recent times, including a motorcycle theft following a shooting incident about two weeks ago. After the theft, he fled to an undisclosed location.

The report noted that investigations have commenced under judicial supervision, and the detainee has reportedly implicated himself with a group involved in these criminal activities. Authorities are currently working to identify and apprehend other individuals linked to these incidents.

The information further assured that security operations will persist to apprehend all other wanted individuals involved in recurring security incidents across Tripoli neighborhoods.
