اعتبر وزير الخارجية البريطاني دومينيك راب، أنّ "تشكيل حكومة جديدة في لبنان خطوة أولى مهمة".
وقال في تصريحٍ، "لقد دعت المملكة المتحدة باستمرار إلى تشكيل عاجل لحكومة فعّالة وقادرة تعكس تطلعات الشعب اللبناني".
The formation of a new government in ???????? is an important first step. We have consistently called for the urgent formation of an effective and capable government which reflects the aspirations of the Lebanese people.

وأكد الوزير البريطاني، أننا "مستعدون لدعم لبنان، ولكن نتطلع الى هذه الحكومة لتظهر التزامها بالإصلاح".
