Gemayel denounces… Who is Lebanon mourning?

Representative Nadim Gemayel posted on X: “How is it possible that we are closing the doors of our institutions for 3 days mourning the death of a president who destroyed his people, and forced Lebanon to follow a path of destruction and terrorism? How is it possible that we are standing idly before the president who finances the extremist militias that destroyed Lebanon, its economy and its sovereignty, erasing the future of its youth?”

He added: “The difference between a legitimate state and a militia’s state is incomparable, and any agreement between the two is almost impossible.”

Gemayel concluded: “It is time to announce our state, our Lebanon. It is time to look towards a future that can bind us together. It is time to look for an approach that can respect our diversity.”
