On Thursday morning, the Israeli army targeted a car on a road linking Kfar Dajjal to Nabatiyeh. The strike took the life of Mohammad Ali Nasser Farran, a young physics teacher in the Hassan Kamel al-Sabbah High School in Nabatiyeh.
Is this another death added to an Israeli plan to drain the country’s brains?
In this context, head of middle east center for studies and public relations, general professor Hisham Jaber said to “Lebanon Debate”: Mohamad Farran is an unarmed citizen, with no relation to the ground work of Hezbollah, but he is linked to the group somehow.”
He added: “Until now it remains unclear what was Mohamad’s rank in the party. I think he is not a leader, but he simply encourages Hezbollah.”
Jaber also mentioned: “The Israeli enemy is always monitoring those educated in the field of electronic, physics and chemistry. They think these people have a lot of influence in Hezbollah, especially in the war in the south.”
The head of the center considered Farran’s murder to be in the same scope of murders that happened previously and led to the loss of educated people.
He confirmed: “The educated people are not protected, because they are not leaders on the field. The Israeli army considers them easy yet important targets.”
Jaber concluded: “Lebanese intellectual people were always targeted by our enemies, even before the creation of the state of Israel. In this context, we can mention the murder of Hassan Kamel Al-Sabbah, who died in mysterious accident in the US. I wonder, if murders were happening before, are we really surprised they are happening now, in the era of intellectuality?”
