Kanaan: Lebanon is not a loose land!

MP and member of the “Strong Lebanon” bloc, Ibrahim Kanaan, stated that "within three months, we completed the law regulating displaced persons entering illegally. We also proposed the imposition of penalties, and violators are not entitled to apply for asylum.”

On Monday, at the end of the meeting of the Finance Committee, he pointed out during his statement that "several legislations shall be put on the table of a legislative session at the earliest opportunity to address the illegal Syrian presence that affects Lebanon in all fields."

Kanaan said: "Every displaced person who commits any kind of violation will leave three months after being given the opportunity to settle his situation, because Lebanon is not a loose land."
