Representative Michel Daher, has unveiled a significant scandal, alleging on X that certain oil companies are blending water with fuel, which can lead to internal combustion due to the water's evaporation in boilers.

He also stated that he has reached out to the caretaker Minister of Energy, Walid Fayad, who promised to investigate and to hold accountable those responsible, especially since the Ministry of Energy inspects oil ships upon arrival.

A reliable source within the oil sector confirms that oil companies are not the only companies engaging in deceptive practices, but also fuel distributors. Some distributors reportedly mix diesel with inappropriate derivatives, resulting in explosions in electric motors.
