Geagea to Bassil: Would you Vote for me?

Following Sleiman Frangieh’s proposal of a duel with Leader of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea for the presidential elections, the latter wanted to assess the situation. Geagea attempted, through the established communication channel between both his party and the Free Patriotic Movement, to know if MP Gebran Bassil would consider voting for him.

However, Bassil denies the unified Christian principle that allowed the FPM to help Michel Aoun win the presidential elections. He argues that he represents the predominant Christian force, despite the results of the 2022 elections suggesting otherwise.
