Salamakeh Stabbed in the Neck

It seems that it was written on stone for Tripoli to wake up and sleep to news of yet another conflict escalating into shooting or stabbing, particularly in the poor neighborhoods.

According to “Lebanon debate” sources, Salim Homsy, known as "Salamakeh" and a resident of Bab Al Hadid, was stabbed in the neck on Thursday evening following a dispute with a person from the El- Qobbeh neighborhood near Al Kassir supermarket.

Sources mentioned that Homsy was rushed to the hospital for treatment as his condition is unstable, while the assailant fled to an unknown location.

Tensions are high in the region, with the army deployed extensively in an effort to apprehend the attacker for questioning.

Security forces have also launched an investigation to uncover the details surrounding the incident.
