Israeli General: We Will Not Reach Litani River

"We suffered a great loss in Gaza," said Major General Yitzhak Brik, former commissioner in the Israeli army, yesterday.

In an interview with Kan 11, he added that waging a war against Hezbollah now would result in a strategic defeat.

He further noted that the Israeli army is fatigued, lacks ammunition, and faces challenges with worn-out vehicles and with reserve soldiers increasingly reluctant to join the battlefield.

Brik concluded by stating, "If our army launched a ground invasion into Lebanon, it will be too exhausted and it will be difficult for it to even reach the Litani River."
