Security chaos has reached critical levels in some northern areas, where disputes escalating to gunfire have become a daily occurrence, instilling panic and fear among citizens.

According to “Lebanon Debate” sources, a dispute occurred yesterday involving A.H., his brother B.H., and an employee at Douaihy station named M.A.

The altercation between the brothers and the employee quickly turned physical, and one of the brothers retrieved a rifle from his car, firing shots towards the station. The employee responded in kind, resulting in no injuries but causing significant financial damage.

The Lebanese army swiftly responded by surrounding the station and is aiming to apprehend and interrogate the shooters.

Reports suggested the altercation stemmed from unresolved disputes, but it appears the root cause was the brothers’ attempt to refuel their vehicles and leave without paying, which provoked the station employee to demand payment.
