White House representatives have indicated that US President Joe Biden is prepared to meet directly with Prime Minister Netanyahu.
It has been decided that the Israeli PM will visit Washington on July 24th to deliver a speech before the US Congress.
It is also expected that the potential upcoming conflict in Lebanon will be among the topics discussed.
According to ABC News, the Israeli military leadership has devised a plan to gradually reduce its forces in Gaza to shift focus towards the northern borders.
In an interview with Britain's Guardian newspaper, Major Harrison Mann, who recently resigned from the defense intelligence agency, remarked: "I doubt the accuracy of their assessments regarding potential Israeli casualties and regarding their win."
He also added: “If Israel's political leadership seeks war, they must understand that complete elimination of Hezeb's military capabilities is not realistic."
