“Lebanon Debate”
A tragic incident took place in Ain el-Remmaneh, Beirut, involving a woman in her eighties named Lydia Fadaous, who fell from the fourth floor.
Lebanon Debate learned that “Fadaous was living on the fourth floor of the Sannine Roastery building. She was standing on the balcony of her apartment and suddenly fell. The exact cause, whether due to dizziness, a health issue, or a slip, remains unclear. Suicide has been ruled out as Ms. Fadaous does not have a history of mental illness.
Security forces arrived at the scene and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident. Following judicial approval, Ms. Fadaous's body was transferred to a hospital for examination by a forensic doctor.
