Trump Speaks about his Assassination Attempt

Former U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Thursday his acceptance of the Republican Party's nomination for the third consecutive time for the U.S. presidential elections, following his survival from an assassination attempt at an election rally in Pennsylvania five days ago.

He emphasized the necessity for Americans to remember that they are "one nation."

During his extensive speech, the former American President spoke about the assassination attempt, saying, "If I hadn't moved my head at that last moment, to read the migration data during my administrations, the bullet would have hit me perfectly."

He continued, "My right hand moved towards my ear. My hand was covered with blood, and blood was all over the place. I immediately knew it was very was serious and that we were under attack," indicating that "brave Secret Service agents rushed to the the stage to help him".

Trump added, " there was blood pouring everywhere, in a certain way i felt very safe because I knew that God was by my side."

The former president also expressed his gratitude to the American people for standing with him in the aftermath of the assassination attempt, thanking everyone who risked their lives to protect him.
