Rima Husseini announced on her social media that she has officially divorced Pierre Bou Assi, a member of the "Strong Republic" bloc.
In a follow-up post, she stated: "Do not be sad for me; this is my choice. Thank God."
The relationship between Bou Assi and Husseini had faced frequent issues and tensions.
