A patrol from the general directorate of state security arrested one of the senior leaders of the death hangar in Shatila, considered to be a place to store and distribute drugs in Beirut and in its outskirts.
According to sources, under the request of the assistant government commissioner to the military court, Judge Hani Al-Hajjar, and the supervision of the general directorate of state security, the special unit in the search and monitoring department in the internal security forces ambushed on the Aley main road “Nour Masrieh”, a man wanted for several crimes, and arrested him.
After exchanging the drugs in his possession for money and jewelry, Nour was planning his escape with his wife and his newborn child after getting fake passports under the pseudo of a Lebanese man to remove any suspicions and to facilitate his passage through the checkpoints.
In more details, he left the observed area and the Sabra-Shatila camp with the help of a Military Corps member heading towards the Lebanese borders.
This operation is part of a series of arrests that took place recently such as the arrest of Abu Akar.
