Israeli threats have resurfaced against Lebanon following massive wildfires that broke out on Monday evening near settlements and military bases in Upper Galilee, and occupied Golan due to Hezbollah missiles.

National Defense Minister Itirmar Ben-Gvir has called for a counterattack.

In this context, “Lebanon Debate” sources affiliated with Hezbollah, consider that these threats are not new, they are rather the same empty threats since October 8th. They also added that the threats are merely an attempt to boost the morale of Israelis, particularly the settlers in the north.

The sources indicated that Hezbollah is closely monitoring the developments on the southern front and the scale of political communication in this regard, as well as internal strategies to deal with Israel.

They confirmed that the threats are not directed at Hezbollah, but rather at the settlers in the north and the extreme words said by some about Beirut’s destruction, and that Hezbollah will watch Beirut crumbling before his eyes are but an attempt to undermine the Lebanese public opinion.

The sources concluded that the resistance has the capacity to stop Israel and to eradicate these threats which prompts Israel to carefully consider any surprise that can come its way as mentioned by Hezbollah secretary general Hassan Nasrallah.
