Family Feud in Akkar

"Lebanon Debate"

A 14-year-old was assaulted by other minors as he was leaving his school in a village in Akkar.

According to "Lebanon Debate" sources, the 14-year-old, identified as W.M, was attacked by minors from AL. A. family, prompting him to defend himself with a sharp tool, resulting in injuries to two of the assailants.

The wounded individuals were subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.

However, the dispute escalated when F.A., a family member of one of the minors involved, shot A.M., a cousin of W.M. and a Corporal in the Lebanese Army. F.A. then fled to an unknown location.

Sources revealed that the reasons of the dispute originate from longstanding tensions between the families, indicating that this altercation is not the first one of its kind.

Security forces were dispatched to the scene to investigate, and an army unit is actively pursuing F.A. to apprehend him.
