Child Harasser Caught Red Handed

Harassment is alarmingly spreading rapidly across Lebanon, affecting not only girls but also children, even in broad daylight.
In the wake of the recent TikTok ring case, parents are now fearful of allowing their children, both girls and boys, to venture outside their homes.

A recent incident in Tripoli on Thursday underscores the urgency of addressing this issue.

According to “Lebanon Debate” sources, a child from the area was near the Port of Tripoli when someone attempted to lure him to a smaller neighborhood to harass him.

The sources added that the child experienced extreme fear and began to shout for help.

Fortunately, some passersby heard him and rushed to his aid. The harasser attempted to flee but was chased by young men from the region, who then alerted security forces.

A patrol from the Information Division of the Internal Security Forces was dispatched to the scene to apprehend the harasser and initiate an investigation.
