A 31 Years old Poisons Himself to End his Life

The economic situation in Lebanon is worsening, significantly impacting vulnerable and impoverished communities. Many citizens are resorting to desperate measures, including involvement in illegal activities or even contemplating suicide, as they see no dignified means of livelihood.

According to "Lebanon Debate" sources, a 31-year-old man recently attempted to take his own life.

In more details, KH.B. suffers from harsh economic conditions deeply affected emotionally and psychologically. Based on his family, despite contemplating suicide several times, he refrained from taking such drastic measures until recently.

The parents of the young man noticed a change in his behavior and intervened just in time when they discovered he had ingested poison.

They immediately rushed him to Tripoli Governmental Hospital in a Red Cross ambulance, where he underwent gastric lavage. This emergency procedure saved his life, and he is currently receiving medical care and supervision.
