Saint Famille School in Ebrine announced in a statement to the guardians of its students that it will be closing its doors.
The statement included: "This decision was not easy and comes after many attempts to adapt and overcome the difficult economic crisis facing the school. The administration also suffers from a financial deficit and a decline in government aid previously received by some free schools. We are no longer able to pay the salaries of administrative staff and teachers in due time, nor cover operational expenses such as electricity and fuel."
