Netanyahu: Planning to Restore Security in the North

The Israeli PM, Benjamin Netanyahu stated, “We are planning to restore security in the North and bring civilians back to their homes.”
He added, “I received a comprehensive review from the Ai Force Commander with regards to the weapons’ defensive and offensive operations.”

Israeli Channel 12 reported that Israel's mini-security ministerial council is convening to discuss the exchange deal.
According to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, the Director of the Mossad will lead the Israeli delegation in hostage deal negotiations.

Former Israeli War Council minister Gadi Eisenkot disclosed that “they are currently at the closest point in the exchange deal process in the last nine months.”

However, he expressed skepticism about PM Netanyahu's willingness to elevate to a strategic leadership level and approve the deal.
