Despite the fact that handling weapons irresponsibly is unacceptable, especially given the recurrence of deadly incidents, today's victim in this unfortunate incident was M.R., member of the internal security forces.

According to "Lebanon Debate" sources, during routine cleaning of his weapon, he accidentally discharged a round, which struck his hand.

The incident occurred at M.R.'s residence in Miniyeh and he was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, his condition is stable after the bullet was successfully removed from his hand.

Security forces have initiated an investigation to determine the specifics of the incident.
