Violence in Tripoli: Tensions Rise at the Hospital Entrance

Shooting incidents have become frequent occurrences in Lebanon, particularly in Tripoli, where they occur almost daily.

According to Lebanon Debate, a new conflict erupted involving an individual identified as M.N. on one side and two brothers, M.H. and H.H., on the other side, in the Barrania locality. The initial dispute escalated into an armed confrontation after M.N. allegedly fired shots from a military pistol at the two brothers, injuring them before fleeing to an unknown location.

The injured brothers were transported to the Islamic Hospital in Tripoli to receive the necessary treatment. The hospital entrance witnessed agitation and unrest.

The situation in the Barrania neighborhood remains tense, with many local shops closing their doors due to fear of further violence.

Lebanese army forces promptly came to the scene. They established a security perimeter and initiated extensive operations to apprehend the shooter.
