Another clash in the North!

“Lebanon debate”

Frequent clashes are occurring almost daily among Lebanese and even between Syrian displaced individuals in the overcrowded northern regions, often resulting in severe injuries and even fatalities.

Yesterday, an altercation erupted among a group of displaced Syrians in Berkayel Village, Hadoum Street, in Akkar.

According to “Lebanon Debate” sources, the conflict started due to verbal exchanges among the Syrians, taking the wrong turn as they resorted to physical violence and employed weapons, resulting in one person being stabbed in the head.

The situation only came under control when someone fired a gun into the air in an attempt to break up the fight.

The injured individual was swiftly transported to the governmental Hospital in Halba for urgent treatment, given the gravity of their injuries

Security forces promptly arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. Additionally, several individuals involved in the altercation were apprehended, as confirmed by the sources.
