New Arrests in the US Embassy Attack

New Information is flooding about the gun attack on the US Embassy in Awkar, which resulted in the injury of two guards and the apprehension of the shooter after he was wounded.

According to “Lebanon Debate” sources, the shooter arrived in Beirut on a van from Majdal Anjar, hiding his weapon and his protective gear in a backpack. Upon arrival, he snuck inside the premises, prepared himself, and shot the guards at the entry point.

5 individuals associated with the attacker were arrested. Among them is his brother, who attempted to flee, and members of his family.

Primary investigations suggest that Salafi movement members, who were also apprehended, influenced his political orientation, concluding that he was part of ISIS.
