A Hollywood Scene in Dahieh

Amid security forces’ lack of intervention, Dahieh is on the brink of a security crisis, due to the spread of drugs in the city, particularly affecting youth in poor and densely populated neighborhoods.

During the last few days security forces conducted raids in several locations on Al Selom Street and Maamoura to apprehend drug dealers, bringing relief to citizens.

However, this comfort was short lived.

In a Hollywood movie scene, “Lebanon Debate” sources confirmed that drug dealers engaged in a violent confrontation, possibly in response to recent arrests. several individuals on motorcycles exchanged gunfire, starting from Al Selom Street and ending in a tragedy in Maamoura region.

During the confrontation, two men on motorcycles pursued A. AH and his mother N.Z, leading to an exchange of fire that continued until they reached the Maamoura region. Eventually, A. AH exhausted his ammunition and was shot by the other two.

He was rushed to the hospital for treatment but lost his life shortly after. Security forces promptly arrived at the crime scene to investigate and requested all available CCTV footage in the region.
