Security in Tripoli is worsening by the day, despite security attempts to limit such incidents. The events that unfolded on Tuesday in Tabbaneh serve as yet another grim reminder of this reality.

Lebanon Debate learned that on Tuesday morning, the so-called (A.S.) fired shots at another individual with an (S) family name near the Al-Farouq Mosque in Tabbaneh. The latter sustained wounds to his feet.

The shooting alledgedly came as a result of previous disputes between the two parties that developed into a shooting.

According to the information, "the victim was transferred to a hospital in the region to receive the necessary treatment, and his condition was described as stable, while (A.S.) fled to an unknown destination."

The security forces came to the scene and opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident and to pursue (A.S.) after he disappeared from sight.
