In Bourj Hammoud, a tragic incident unfolded as a soldier in the Lebanese Army (H.Y.) fatally shot his wife.

Local residents intervened and managed to apprehend him.

Upon the incident, the Information Department in internal security forces swiftly responded to take custody of the detainee.

However, tensions arose when an Army Intelligence patrol arrived and insisted on also taking custody of the soldier, due to his military status.

This disagreement led to a standoff between the two agencies, as the Information Department refused to give the patrol the custody of the suspect.
