This morning marked the commencement of the secondary students' official exams across the country, but several centers experienced delays due to logistical issues, as reported by "Lebanon Debate" sources.
According to these sources, exam papers arrived late at some centers, causing a delay in the start of exams and leading to heightened tension and anxiety among students.
Reports indicated that exam papers started arriving gradually at the centers, following a delay of approximately 40 minutes.
Officials managing the centers have called on the Ministry of Education to issue a directive adjusting the exam duration to account for the delay in receiving the exam papers.
Minister of Education Abbas Al-Halabi is actively monitoring the situation and working to facilitate smooth exam administration under optimal conditions. This effort is particularly critical amidst the challenging circumstances faced by students across Lebanon, especially those in the southern regions considering the ongoing conflict on the southern front.
Al-Halabi plans to visit several exam centers in Tire and Nabatieh to personally oversee the exams and ensure students are adequately supported.
