Bassil Visits Berri

Al Binaa newspaper revealed on Monday that the leader of the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM), MP Gebran Bassil, will visit the Speaker of Parliament, Nabih Berri, at Ain el-Tineh to inform him of the results of his meetings with several political parties.

The FPM MP will emphasize the importance of dialogue, which will be followed by consecutive sessions to elect a president, especially since approximately 86 MPs have expressed readiness to participate in said dialogue.

Furthermore, Bassil stated on Sunday: “We are facing threats from Israel, and we are all concerned about the possibility of a war erupting. Hence, we affirm our stance against any policy that could lead us into war.'"
