Green Light from Netanyahu

Israel Hayom has revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has given approval to the army to assassinate a senior figure in Hezeb.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced on Wednesday that an airstrike targeted Mohammad Naame Nasser, head of the Aziz unit responsible for launching missiles from western South Lebanon into Israeli territories.

Nasser had held this position since 2016 and was responsible for coordinating rocket and anti-tank fire from southwestern Lebanon towards Israeli civilian areas and IDF forces. He also directed numerous other attacks against Israel during the conflict and played crucial roles within the organization.

Adraee also added that Nasser's role was comparable to that of Taleb Sami Abdel Allah, commander of the Nasr unit, who was eliminated approximately a month ago. Both were considered key leaders for Hezeb in the Southern Lebanon front.
