The interventions and mediations carried out by both the Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and the Deputy Director General of State Security Brigadier General Hassan Shukair with Iraq have resulted in reaching an understanding to grant permission for anchored ships carrying Iraqi fuel to unload their cargo.
